Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica and Buck Rogers descend on Kansas City for a sci fi extravaganza, featuring Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian), Edward James Olmos (Admiral Adama) and Gil Gerard (Buck Rogers)!

Planet Comicon, Kansas City, the largest pop culture and comic book convention in this area, is approaching. This will be the biggest Planet Comicon to date, a veritable Sci Fi Extravaganza, with MORE media personalities, MORE top creators and a BIGGER Artists Alley.

The show will be held at the Overland Park International Trade Center near 115th and Metcalf in Overland Park Kansas on March 24-25, 2012. It is open to the public on Saturday March 24 from 10am to 7pm and Sunday March 25 from 10am to 4pm. Advance Ticket holders may be admitted at 9:30 AM Saturday if the room is ready. The exact address of the Overland Park International Trade Center, for those of you using a GPS device to find your way, is 6800 W 115th St, Overland Park, KS 66211. This is about 1/4 mile east of Metcalf on 115th Street and essentially just behind Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Store.

We have media personalities and creators (including writers, comic book writers and artists, and artists in other genres. We already have more than 100 creators and several media personalities attending the event.
