| With Halloween approaching I was on the search for haunted venues. What better than a haunted pizzeria, located right in Lenexa. Stonewall Inn Pizza Parlor is a small joint offering great pizza pies at an affordable price. When I first saw this location I was unsure of what services were offered in this old run down building. When I discovered it was a pizza joint that was also haunted I had to try it.
Upon entering the building I did not have any eerie feelings. A small room filled with about five tables, two benches and a small TV featuring college football. We split a pie with Pepperoni & Pineapple and Italian Sausage. The pizza was very good. Not overly greasy or cheesy. The sauce was very flavorful and toppings were fresh. The crust was light and flaky.
Service was great, despite the time it took to receive our pizzas. In the end it was all worth the wait. As we waited we heard a few great haunting stories from our server which included sinks turning on and off themselves and visions of blurs in the night. Make sure to ask about the ghost who haunts the pizzeria. Stonewall is a must for those pizza
