Coming OCTOBER. 15-20, 2004
On the heels of the just completed Kansas International Film Festival at the Glenwood Arts, which was up 100% over last year, comes another fine film festival.

FilmFest Kansas City will bring in stars and filmmakers from around the globe along with 40 films when it returns to Kansas City's Cinemark's Palace on the Plaza. In addition to meeting directors and actors, you can view several major studio releases first. Scheduled films range from the 25th Anniversary showing "Last of the Blue Devils" to "The Lost Reels of Poncho Villa." Other titles will be announced next issue. In the last 10 years, FilmFest Kansas City has premiered over 275 new films from over 55 countries around the globe. Films from Major Studios and Independent film companies have been shown.

Plan to attend the gala opening party on Thursday, October 14th starting at 7:00 at the beautiful Screenland Building located at 17th and Washington Ave. (one block west of Broadway). For more information call 816-523-7851 or go to the Film Society's web site:
