On the heels of the just completed Kansas International Film Festival at the Glenwood Arts, which was up 100% over last year, comes another fine film festival.
FilmFest Kansas City will bring in stars and filmmakers from around the globe along with 40 films when it returns to Kansas City's Cinemark's Palace on the Plaza. Scheduled films range from the 25th Anniversary showing "Last of the Blue Devils" to "The Lost Reels of Poncho Villa." Other titles will be announced next issue. In the last 10 years, FilmFest Kansas City has premiered over 275 new films from over 55 countries around the globe. Films from Major Studios and Independent film companies have been shown.
