Our own TWA Constellation (recognized by the four props and distinctive triple tail and nicknamed Connie) The "Star of America" was part of this movie and many TV and past movie releases, as well as several TV commercials. The Connie is one of 3 restored aircraft to be found at The Airline History Museum located at the Downtown Airport, in Kansas City, Missouri. To walk through it is to step back in time to a different and more graceful age of air transportation. Just drop by Hangar 9 at 201 NW Lou Holland Drive and see for yourself. Phone 816-421-3401 for hours of operation and other information.
