It's finally time for the boys to shine on stage in “Magic Mike”. Not very often are the women given some eye candy in a male revue show on the big screen, but we are also given a half decent storyline too. Channing Tatum is Magic Mike a male stripper who seems to have it all figured out. Working multiple jobs and bringing in plenty of money. Not to mention the fun he seems to be having night after night with different beautiful women. When he meets a struggling young kid Adam (Alex Pettyfer) at his day job he takes him under his wing and introduces him into a new world of stripping.

Alex quickly adheres to the lifestyle and is an instant hit on stage. The two become best buddies a friendship that Alex's sister Brooke (Cody Horn) has concerns about. Initially she is shocked by Alex's new employment, but after reassurance from Mike that he will take care of him she offers her blessing. As the revue in Tampa, Florida seems to have found a new home in Miami the strippers must make a decision about leaving home behind and relocating.

Owner of the revue, Dallas (Matthew McConaughey) promises them endless success in their new home in Miami and as the group prepare for their final act in Tampa a lot of tensions are on the rise. Mike realizes the life he has been living is not the one he wants and begins to second guess his decisions.

Mike (Tatum) ignites the screen with his amazing moves that will have you begging for more. If that is not enough you also get Dallas (McConaughey), Big Dick Richie (Joe Manganiello), Ken (Matt Bomer), Adam Rodriguez (Tito) and Tarzan (Kevin Nash). A flavor for each viewer's desire. “Magic Mike” was exciting fun that would be perfect for a ladies night out. Aside from the sex appeal the film attempts a storyline. One that includes trials, tribulations and relationships. It is a solid attempt that does not always succeed, but in the end everyone knows what you really want to see. What you see is what you get in “Magic Mike”. The eye candy is worth every penny of your ticket price. So get your dollar bills ready to spend and heat things up this weekend in theatres!
