J. Kent Barnhart directs this lively show based on an off-Broadway musical by Kander and Ebb featuring songs from Chicago, Cabaret, New York, New York and more. This time 5 great singers are featured including Teri Adams, Karen Errington, Charles Fugate, Stephanie Nelson, and James Andrew Wright. The band consists of Steve Lenhert on bass, Ken Remmert on drums and J. Kent Barnahart on Piano. Some of my favorites are "Coffee in a Cardboard Cup",
"Sara Lee", "All That Jazz", "Ring Them Bells", "Money, Money", "Cabaret" and "New York, New York". The World Goes 'Round is not a typical revue. It is a carefully constructed piece of theatre. These are more than great songs; they are songs that tell stories and introduce the audience to fascinating characters. Each song is a glimpse into another person's reality. This is one of the funniest, liveliest shows at the Quality Hill Playhouse I have seen. Don't miss it.
