Music and mirth herald Christmas Eve in the festive Stahbaum household where friends and family are celebrating. Suddenly the old godfather, a clock and toy maker arrives with gifts. Of all the presents, young Clara's nutcracker is most admired, and her brother, Fritz jealously seizes and breaks it. Clara is upset until her godfather magically repairs it. After the party, Clara steals to the parlor at midnight to check on her nutcracker lying under the Christmas tree. What happens next is unbelievable and magical. Every child should experience the magic of this wonderful show. Call 816-931-2232, ext 375 for more information or log on to kcballet.org. |
