MISSOURI REP THEATRE OPENS 40TH SEASON!
I love a good detective story and The Front Page is considered the greatest of American comedies. It is all about the competitive fun and fury of Chicago journalism, circa 1928, when hardboiled editors and reporters did anything to bring home a scoop. It tells the hilarious tale of a star Chicago reporter who wants to quit chasing newsbreaks and get married, but his scheming editor battles to trick him into covering one last story. Larry Carpenter directs the classic newspaper comedy. Call 816-235-2700 for more information.
